Collaboration is at the heart of LinkDR. You can invite colleagues, clients, or partners to any of your projects, giving them specific roles and permissions while keeping all your other projects private.
Access is granted on a per-project basis, meaning an invitation to "Project A" does not give a user access to "Project B." This ensures your client work and internal projects remain completely separate and secure.
How to Invite a Team Member
From your main dashboard, open the project you want to share.
Navigate to
Settingsin the project menu.Click on the
Memberstab.Click the
Invite Memberbutton.Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and select a role for them from the dropdown menu.
The invited person will receive an email with a unique link to join the project.
If they are new to LinkDR, they will be prompted to create a free account.
If they already have a LinkDR account, the project will immediately appear in their list of available projects.
Understanding Roles and Permissions
Roles allow you to control what each person can do within your project.
Owner: (This is you, the project creator). You have full control, including the ability to manage billing, add and remove members, and delete the project.
Admin: Can do almost everything the Owner can, including managing project settings and inviting other members. They cannot delete the project or manage billing.
Member: This is the standard role for team members who are actively working on a project. They can use the project's credits to build links and use all of the project's tools, but they cannot change settings or invite new people.
Viewer (Read-Only): Perfect for clients or stakeholders who need to see progress without having the ability to make changes. They can view dashboards and reports but cannot spend credits or alter any settings.
You can change a person's role at any time from the Members tab in your project settings.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is there a limit to how many people I can invite? No, you can invite as many team members as you need to each project.
What happens when I remove someone from a project? They will immediately lose all access to that project. It will no longer appear in their account, and they will not be ableto view any of its data.
Do invited members need to buy their own credits? No. All invited members use the central credit balance of the project they are working on. They do not need to add their own payment method.
Can a person I invite to one project see my other projects? Absolutely not. Access is strictly siloed. Inviting someone to "Project A" gives them zero visibility into "Project B" unless you explicitly invite them to that project as well.
